Originally from Ottawa, Ontario, Justin Ralph has performed across Ontario and abroad, spanning the genres of folk, musical theatre, and opera. He has worked as a soloist for many companies, including Toronto Operetta Theatre, Opera in Concert, Opera York, Opera 5, the Orpheus Choir of Toronto, and Tryptch Concert and Opera. Recent engagements have included Alfred in Opera Five's smash-hit production of Die Fledermaus, Lord Tolloller in the Opera Yorkshire Workshop's production of Iolanthe in Redcar, UK, Kekikako in Opera 5's production of Offenbach's Ba-Ta-Clan, and Gabriel in The Nativity According to St. Luke with the Greater Toronto Philharmonic Orchestra, and Marius in Les Miserables in Concert with the Sudbury Symphony and Yes! Theatre.
Currently, Justin is working on an original folk song cycle, "A Winter's Journey", based on Schubert's Winterreise and inspired by early folk and country music.
